Revered film critic Barry Norman is mourning the loss of his novelist wife following her death on Thursday (27Jan11). Diana Norman, who also wrote books under the pseudonym Ariana Franklin, passed away after a serious illness. She was 77. She met TV personality Norman while the pair was working as reporters on London's Fleet Street and they wed in 1957.
