    Awesome

    Just watched this film and it was great. Never saw the 1972 original, usually remakes are a poor second, but I can't imagine how the original could have beaten this. Although it seems to start slowly, be patient, character development works well. It has Fear, Gore, Anticipation, Suspense. I Don't want to spoil it, but there is a very disturbing scene in the middle of the film - be warned.

    The Lat House on the Left

    The events leading up to the main story took a up a lot of the film. The woods scene was graphically disturbing rather than horror. The killings (which you would expect in a horror so I'm not spoiling anything) were over a bit quick for my liking.

    Was worth renting.
