Abrupt ending that spoiled the whole film....By a customer from Beddington , 06 Jun 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]This film seemed pretty pointless to me and the abrupt ending certainly confirmed this for me. The acting felt pretty staged throughout and at times I hoped that the story would take me somewhere more challenging and interesting but it never quite managed to do that. Couples in relationships being tempted to have affairs has now become so cliched that to have mastered this subject in this film more thought and depth should have gone into character and plot development to be able to have given the viewer a more satisfying experience.Overall a very disappointing film.

I made a mistakeBy a customer , 01 Jun 2013This film is awful. Normally I like Mendez and could miss Knigthley...but I thought I'd give this film a go. What a mistake. Pointless fim
Pretty goodBy Saydul (1 review) , 22 May 2013Its a story of being faithful and temptations. Slow moving but keeps you entertained and guessing, will it, will it not. Contrary to reviews I have read, I quite liked the ending.
Mediocre drossBy Malonebarbie (5 reviews) , 06 May 2013Awful. Very dull and non-eventful. The only thing worse than the script was the actors' table manners. The ending was ok but not good enough to save the film.
Fantastically DullBy ngomac (1 review) , 02 May 2013Date Night begins as a film with several stylistic flourishes, suggestive angles and a general tense setting to outline the two protagonists clearly troubled relationship. From this point onwards the unconscious game of cat and mouth both plays out with one another and bores in equal measure. The film ultimately turns out to be a contrast of who or who won't go the farthest, which in itself is dull and makes the viewer yearn to watch closer.
