The Justice VS Revenge debate.
By dougthom (262 reviews) from Brighton,UK , 15 Nov 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
This is a high impact movie. It hits upon this issues of how much justic you can pay for, the court is just a theater adding further to my feeling to keep cameras out of the court room as we can do without celebrities judges/lawyers.
This movie fans the flasms of vigilante justice due to misjustice.
So imagine 'jigsaw' from the Saw movies is in jail orchastrating events outside when there is now way he could possibly be exacting his revenge.
Does his the Justice VS Revenge debate. Like I am surprised that the Americans have not gone back to 'Hung, Drawn and Quatered' from Leathal Injection.
What you dont appreciate is that on Death Row, the Lawyer Asset Strip you before you are put to death penniless. Another kind of Justice?

the pits.
By klimt1966 (1 review) from Kingston upon Thames , 05 May 2013Quite possibly the most ridiculous film I've ever seen. Don't bother. The plot line was unbelievable within 5 minutes and script awful.- Was this review helpful to you?

A "must watch" in my opinion
By Kwaze (23 reviews) from Sutton Coldfield , 30 Apr 2013The violence could well be too realistic for many people. There is always something to keep the viewers attention and plenty of action, although I can also see the 'Miss Marple' types finding it offensive. Frankly I find Miss Marple offensive...- Was this review helpful to you?

Law breaker
By Routemaster (87 reviews) from Cambridge , 24 Apr 2013Average movie and plot. Cldye Shelton's family (Butler) are all murdered. The killers appear to be going free as there is no real evidence against them until a deal is done with one of them against his cohort. So the plot is centered around Shelton's revenge, some 10 years after the event, against everyone involved in the deal. His main targets are the original killers, the system and Nick Rice (Foxx) the district attorney. Lots of special effects and action but not really a memorable film - felt like I'd seen it all before.- Was this review helpful to you?

Hmmmm not sure about this one
By lastengland (82 reviews) from Winchester , 11 Apr 2013a little too violent for me, that I didn't watch it to the end. The plot is nothing new as I've seen other films like this whereby killers walk free....I can vaguely remember a film where killers who walk free are targeted by some disallusioned cops, but the violence wasn't quite so graphic! Love GB, but this one not for me.- Was this review helpful to you?
