Law and Order - SVU - Series 2

Excellent tv series with a very likeable cast and some uncomfortable storylines. This 2nd series has a very dramatic start and I couldn't wait to watch the rest of the disk. This is the season that Ice-T joins the cast and he fits in effortlessly. Cannot wait to watch the rest of the season - I'm sure it won't disappoint

    just no nonsense quality

This series is businesslike ; no frills; realistic; no gimmicks but true to victims of such crimes (and there are many) There is no gratuitous tastelessness but yet we are left in no doubt about the damaging effects of the crimes. The acting is selfless and honest and the storylines consistently good.

    More great SVU drama

I like the combination of the team in S2. Ice T is great, and the addition of Stephanie March as posh bitch lawyer Alex Cabot is another good move. More good stories, and the luscious Mariska is even more butch in S2 with even shorter hair....ggrrrowl!!!

    A Solid Second Season

An offshoot of the original Law and Order, Special Victims is a series that deals with the victims of sexual crimes. The fact that it is dealing with the darker side of life, this series manages to sensitively deal with often 'hot' subjects, without compromising the drama in any way.

The first season took a while to get going and in comparison with Law & Order: Criminal Intent, it seemed almost sub standard. However with this second season, it has finally overcome it's first season's immaturities, to become a firm favourite of mine. If you're looking for a crime series that is different to the rest, then this is definitely worth a watch

    NO DOUBT

Great series, but then you can never be disappointed by this team. The story lines are amazing, sometimes shocking and very upsetting but it normally turns out ok in the end. Would recommend.
