Superb French thriller. Has real heart.
Le Jour Se Leve - translates into English as Daybreak. The film was made back in 1938 but still seems extremely fresh and modern to this viewer. A man is holed ... read more »

Wonderful film with Jean Gabin in one of his best roles. Very moving in his conflicted predicament between love and patriotism.
