The Real Thing Lacks Bite
By gambler from Hampshire , 04 Mar 2004As a record of the race it works. As an evenings entertainment you need to be pretty dedicated. The narrative is lacking in excitement and camera action is limited by the fact that it is a race not a film. I was there at the 2001 race in pouring rain, this is the same teams and the same cars in good weather so I enjoyed it, but if you want gripping entertainment watch the Steve McQueen film Le Mans.- Was this review helpful to you?
