I had never heard this before but was attracted to it because Natalie Dessay, one of my favourite sopranos, was singing in it. This is a film rather than a stage production. Totally surreal but I found it quite enjoyable to watch. However I have the following recommendations. Read a synopsis before you watch it, It will make more sense. Also you have the choice of having noise effects switched on or off. I think it's better with them off. The music itself is very expressive and I found the other noises rather distracting. The opera itself is only abouit 45 mins long. I watched it twice. The first time without having read a synopsis and with other effects on. The second time having read a synopsis and with other effects off. It was much better second time and in fact very beautiful and moving music.
