The third and perhaps most bizarre of the League's devilish offspring so far. Some old faves like Pauline have a welcome return--she's been released from HMP Clitclink--but still wonderfully sinister and creepy goings-on all round, as per. When dab-hand Charlie gets a massage job at Spit & Polish, he's a bit reluctant to offer the handy 'extras' until they prove too lucrative. And Lance, the one-armed joke-shop owner, regrets getting a second one when it appears to have a nail-varnished life of its own. Spine-chillingly twisted fine fare.

The format of the third is a departure from the first two series as it tends to more focus on one group of characters per episode. The whole thing feels like a black, comedic Tales of the Unexpected with the writing as sharp as ever, and superbly executed by the boys. New characters do get introduced throughout and add to the richness of the scripts allowing Royston Vasey to be fleshed out even further. Can't recommend highly enough, this is classic, groundbreaking comedy.
