    Interesting only for beginners

    This DVD is fine and may be useful to anyone who hasn't learned Flamenco guitar yet.

    Teaches you the basic vocabulary and compas that are used in the style.

    However, I was disappointed by the performances chosen to illustrate several forms (Buleria,Solea,Tango...)of Flamenco since none of them show the real art (duende) and therefore interest of this style.

    It is quite obvious that Gilmartin has a classical background but is far from being a serious flamenco guitar player.

    Very, Very Poor Quality and grotesque fingernails

    This DVD must be the worst encoded DVD I have ever seen.

    The video must have been small and then upscaled as the guitar strings are all 'jagged' and really hard to see what he is playing.

    Also the guy playing the guitar (who is actually quite good at playing) has the worst bitten nails I have ever seen. They are so bad that I had to stop watching as they were making me feel sick looking at them.

    I'm giving this a low rating as I think it is very amaturish and they really could have found someone with a better presentation and better FINGERNAILS !!!

    Any of the 'Lick Library' DVD's with Danny Gill - good presentation and good nails and professionally done.
