Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected here on this 2-DVD set. With a running time of over 5 and a half hours, this collection is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970; London's Earls Court in May 1975; Knebworth in August 1979; and Madison Square Garden in July 1973. Guitarist Jimmy Page has taken great care to restore, remix and remaster the sound from these shows, providing a visual and sonic assault that offers indisputable proof of Led Zeppelin's reputation as a rock 'n' roll behemoth! Additional footage comes in the shape of several television interviews, a bootleg shot of the band performing "Heartbreaker," behind the scenes footage from Knebworth, and a whole lot more.

Despite only being 24 I have been converted to L Z by the pure brilliance of all the band members.
On this DVD you get to see them all at there best, from Bonzo's solo on Moby Dick to Pages 20 minute Dazed and Confused.
This is alotbetter then the song remains the same as the band members personal sections are not here it is purely archive footage with a few interviews.
Also there is footage from the full spectrum of the ages and styles of the band, from early Albert Hall playings of the blues to Knebworth with Kashmir and Rock and Roll.
There is no better way of spending an evening then having a few drinks and listening to 'Since I've been loving you' on full blast.
Fantastic.
The best of the best.
Shame Pagey didn't slip in any footage from their superb tour in 77, but thats the only critisism. As DVDs go, this has the BEST sound I've heard on any music DVD ever. The DTS track will make your lawn die. To think the footage is 28-37 years old is incredible too. Page was always the master producer - this is his finest work and a year well spent.
All other DVDs pale into insignificance by a long chalk. This is how ALL music DVDs should be done - so why aren't they?
We miss you Bonzo - at least others can now see why. Knebworth still seems like months ago - we never thought that would be the last time you'd grace the UK.
Buy it, steal it - or rent it if you must - you just NEED to see this, even if not a fan previously.
