Based on actual events in the life of William Coit Jr., this is the story of one man's choice between love for his mother and his search for the truth. On the eve of William's birthday, his uncle decides it is time William knew some facts about his mother, Jill. She is a bigamist, a liar and a thief. William decides to investigate. He finds that his father was only one out of 10 husbands that Jill lied to and cheated. She was also the prime suspect in his father's murder case. As he finds out more, William realises he is the only person who knows the whole truth about Jill's deceitful life. What he knows could put her behind bars. But can he betray his mother? Or must he protect his father's killer?
