I love the film, but it would have been more enjoyable if the original Cantonese version was available with subtitles instead.

As it was a comedy, the comical dubbed voices were amusing enough though, and added a different flavour to the story.

    Definitely worth the watch!

Over the top story, over the top acting and reaaaaally over the top fighting choreography! But good, cheesy, kung fu fun. Worth a watch if you're a Jet Li fan. Just a shame I didn't read the description properly, I HATE dubbed versions, why can't you have the choice?

  • Now what I expected

Terrible script, terrible acting, terrible dubbing and terrible wire work -

although the fight scenes were very dramatic.

The film was scattered with a lot of really corny scenes, such as Lee making his 6 month old son choose between a sword and his favourite toy. Choosing the sword meant they would fight together later. Not choosing it meant he would kill him. Like what?

Some of the fight scenes were openly laughable.

Having said that, it was fun and Lee was at his best with the fighting.

  • Another dubbed fake fighting film

Terrible, Its one of those films where you watch it to the end and regret it, my partner Michael quite enjoyed it, however he is a Jet Li buff, and has seen all the old school chinese films too. Like most for me it was ruined by the dubbed voice over and the 'that would never happen' fighting style. Emma

This movie is an absolute time waster. Someone have tried to copy cat the movie Lone Wolf and Cub and tried to turned it into a martial art comedy. Unfortunately the jokes are predictable and boring. Break the DVD and through it away!!!
