3D Essential viewing.....By Wallo69 (2 reviews) , 03 Oct 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]Well, I admit, with limited 3D bluray discs out there, this was another excuse to don the 3D specs on our Panasonic, and after watching it I think its a must own 3D movie to show off both the best in HD realistic animation combined with such effective and immersive a 3D experience.
I am only docking a mark as its just not my type of movie, and of course its really aimed at the youngsters, but I will never the less watch it again!!!
......of course those owls really do look so real as well... amazingly well done....

Superb 3D and CGI with Great StoryBy Chrisaljack (410 reviews) from Hellingly , 14 Jun 2013I have watched this some months ago in 2D and enjoyed it, so this time watched in 3D: it was like watching a new film! The 3D effects and the quality of the animation was absolutely stunning. This has to be THE demonstration disk to use to show off your 3D TV! So, great story, clear good versus evil message, terrific characterisations and superb 3D and CGI: what more can you ask for?
Wonderful Story, excellent cgi... Great 3DBy Claire71uk (8 reviews) , 14 May 2013Watch this several times...wonderful story. Great Cgi, could watch over and over....nice characters, as it should be. Fun, good to watch
a watchable film but should have been so much moreBy CarnageAce (94 reviews) , 29 Mar 2013This had entertainment value but was lacking the drama and punch it needed to make it great for both adult and children, but kids will like it. It has moments that show what the film could have been at its full potential. The story was better than some i have seen but i get the feeling the makers played there B game relying on good 3D not the A game making the best film they could that this deserved.
Eye CandyBy CaryLad29 (7 reviews) from Lake District, Cumbria , 01 Jul 2012Visually a stunner, this is the title that convinced me that 3D is not just a novelty and a pointless waste of time. 3D if appropriate and done correctly can add greatly to the feel of a film. Easily the best 3D I've seen to date (the opening sequence is jaw dropping) Some very slight issues around ghosting but overall a title which should be a benchmark to which others are compared.
HIGH PRIORITY TITLE!!!By AllModCons1981 (1 review) from Dorset, England , 18 May 2012This was my first 3d film watched on my 3d tv and it was amazing. Story line was good and the animation along with the 3d was superb. Rent it now!!!
