A shame

This film was disappointing. Some absolutely beautiful visual effects, I was completely captivated by the beautiful colours, textures, music and 3D effect. However all of that was completely let down by quite a tacky, confusing and cliche fantasy story that just seems all too familiar, like Narnia or Lord of the Rings... except with OWLS! A lot of plot details were rushed and left unexplained, if the story had been a bit simpler and more original, it would have been a brilliant film. I'd still recommend people see it for the visual aspect, particularly if you're going to see it in the cinema in 3D, there were some moments that are absolutely stunning.- Was this review helpful to you?

What a Hoot!

owl-a-tastic!!! A must watch
