It should never have been this good....
By a customer from Walton-On-Thames , 12 Jan 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
34 and counting but, with memories when I was a kid of playing with Lego for hours and remembering the epics of the two early Star warsfilms , this was a must buy, with awesome reviews and it is brilliant. I am not into the highly technical and complex 1 man shoot'em ups. When I had a N64, the only games I played were Mario Karts (cannot wait for that for the Wii next month!!!) and Golden Eye. I have Metroid Prime 3 fpr the Wii but if I am honest I have stopped playing it as it was too intense. Lego Star Wars is fun, silly and clever all in one. One to play with the young ones aswell. Think a purchase of the 6 Star Wars films is on the cards.- Was this review helpful to you?

Violent behaviour unsuitable for 5 year old
By slubbe (3 reviews) , 07 Jul 2011Poor rating. This wii game had poor graphics, hard to understand the controls and menus. I thought this game was unsuitable for my 5 year old son, the effec/graphics when the sabers could chop the lego men heads off was disgusting. In fact it resulted in my son wanting to chop the trees down in the garden with a pretend sword/sabre. When comparing to games such as Donkey Kong Returns or Super Mario this rates very poorly. For this reason will not be hiring any more Lego games as it borders on mild violence behaviour in my view. Cant believe it is rated as 3 years, think twice before hiring for your children.- Was this review helpful to you?

Finally a game my six-year-old can play on his own!
By a customer , 26 May 2011Having rented Toy Story 3 previously, I was glad to see that this Star Wars game is much easier and my young son can happily play it on his own. Of course, if you're aiming for 100% completion, it's not that easy, but young children can play it at their own level without having to progress beyond their capabilities. Freeplay is a great feature where you can dip in and out of chapters exploring the environment at your leisure, collecting studs and finding hidden canisters along the way. We've beeen playing this for two weeks every day and we're only 12% into the game. There's lots to do and new bonus features are unlocked as you progress. We've enjoyed this game so much that we've decided to buy it in the end.- Was this review helpful to you?

Lego Star Wars
By BigKid (7 reviews) from Norwich , 23 Feb 2011As 2 mature adult people we expected this to be rather childish....not so - it's had us totally absorbed for 2 weeks! The more of it you do the more fun it gets as you can get more characters, more abilities and discover new things to do daily. Highly recommended!- Was this review helpful to you?
