    Ahead of it's time ?

Unfortunately, this isn't in the same league as anything else that French & Saunders have been in.

It looks good, there are a few good jokes, but nothing that memorable. At times it looks as though is could be as funny as Blackadder (but that's probably because of the period its set in) but it never is.

The thing is, there aren't enough clever / witty jokes and too many silly / childish jokes in it for me personally and considering it's reputation, maybe for others too. Pity as I really wanted this to be better when it was first shown on TV. What with their heaving bosoms in every shot.

I'm renting it as a long-time fan and in support of F & S, and the fact that I will probably get into it if I can watch it a few times.

I don't expect there will be another series...

    FANTASTIC

Decadent and delightfully trushy!.....Duo and friends at their best, can not get enough of them.
