I'll stick with the trailer, it seems pretty comprehensive. I feel sure there's not much more to be gained by sitting through the whole movie. Seyfried doesn't do it for me and that bloke looks and sounds annoying. Did I say he sounds annoying. Oh I did. Yes, well he looks annoying too.

Loved it! Beautiful scenery; light, sweet, and nice story! Feel good movie; want to go to Tuscany now. Only downside is male lead is annoying initially, but he warms up towards the end.

great scenery, great, photography, disappointing film, a real chick flick. Weak and predictable storyline, ok acting. Watch with a pizza and drink.

Not an unpleasent little tale, not much drama and not too much romance, just an easy going lightly entertaining film. It won't even take much to guess how the story ends.

Inoffensive but oh so sappy romance built on one silly plot contrivance after another. Seyfried travels to Verona with her inattentive fiancé and discovers the wall where love-stricken young women pin letters of love to Juliet. Not only that, she stumbles across a letter from 50 years ago, answers it, and lo and behold, the woman who wrote it all those years ago shows up with her grandson. No prizes for guessing where this is headed. This is the kind of film where you half expect a plaintive Taylor Swift song to show up on the soundtrack… and sure enough. Fortunately, it has several grace notes, one being the gorgeous Tuscan scenery, the other being Redgrave, as radiant as ever.
