I'm a great fan of the original Morse series, to which Lewis will always be compared. This series has all the character of Morse, and is great viewing. It needs a bit of work to catch up yet, but I'm sure that will happen as the series matures. Great viewing for those who like this type of program, and well worth a rental.- Was this review helpful to you?

lewis disc 2 season 1

Lewis-Series 1
By a customer from Sittingbourne , 25 May 2009I was late to catch the Lewis series and my first was series 3. I have just watched the first 2 of series 1 and fully expected them not be be as good as series 3. I was wrong; they are consistently good from the start!
I personally find the on screen partnetship between Lewis and Hathaway more amusing and entertaining than that between Morse and Lewis.
