I like Lewis!

I really enjoyed this series of Lewis, as I have the preceding ones. It's interesting seeing DI Lewis in this series, compared to his DS role in 'Inspector Morse.' He has matured from one program to the next, and has become more tender-hearted since the death of his wife.
Lewis interacts so well with DS Hathaway, whose character I enjoy very much, as well. He's odd, as police sergeants go, with his religious background and Cambridge education. The two make a good team, and when you add in their beautiful lady boss, it's even better.
The Oxford setting is interesting, especially as I visited Oxford only a year after I arrived in England (from America,) and enjoyed touring there for a couple of days. It's like going back to Oxford, and I learn more about it through watching Lewis.
I wish the series could go on, and on, and on . . . Five stars from me!- Was this review helpful to you?
