Modes and Scales; Harmonic and Harmonized; Secondary Dominants
The last of the 'Rock' series DVDs, the first three being Rock Essentials, Rock Concepts and Rock Rhythm Techniques. This DVD caps it all off by delving into modes (includes the little-used Locrian mode also), then the harmonic minor scale, harmonized major scale and secondary dominants. As usual these are taugh by example using licks and riffs in the appropriate mode / scale. Great stuff! I plan to buy this DVD.
