Too awful for wordsBy a customer from Sheffield, England , 23 Sep 2011Be under no illusion - this film is truly awful. It features a weak story, terrible script, appalling acting and even worse score and is packed with every spy-movie cliche going. I'd expected more from the usually decent Christian Slater and the Oscar-winning Cuba Gooding Jr, but can only conclude they took part because they lost a bet. Slater doesn't even try to pretend he's acting. And as for the leading ladies? Don't get me started. Terrible doesn't even come close.
Lies and IllusionsBy NICKJOJO (256 reviews) from Surrey , 09 Sep 2011The title says it all (about the write up). How Christian Slater and Cuba Golding Jnr can get involved in a film like this is very disappointing. It was a bad script, bad direction, laughable camera work and editing and acting that pinnochio would be proud of. Absolutely awful.
Don't even think about it! All lies, garbage!By Onlylexus (119 reviews) from Chesterfield , 28 Aug 2011'So, Mr Christian Slater, what say we pay you a lot of money to make a really cheesy, cheap and ridiculous movie?'... 'Sure, count me in'.. says Mr Slater. I always thought that most actors had some sort of obligation to a principle, some sort of ethic as to a role in a film. A sort of idea that they read the script to see if the project is worth doing. You know what Mr Slater, you have come down to the gutter in this one! The only reason why you took part, must have been for the money, I can see no other reason. This has to be one of the worst films in history, why I stuck with it till the end, heaven only knows! I guess I wanted to see how much more stupid it got, and I was right, it went to the extremes of stupidity and absurdity. This film is a joke from start to finish. What the hell was it, a serious film or a comedy? It ended up being neither, just one big pile of total poo! Grr! this is truly awful. Do not go there, do not pay for this, if you do, your as stupid as the film.
Synopsis sounds better than the movie. AVOID!By a customer from Beddington , 27 Aug 2011All I can say is that I should have read the reviews before putting this nonsense of a film into my titles. Just avoid, you'll thank me for it!
