Queen Latifah is one of my favourite actresses and when I saw this movie with her in it Ibookmarked it to watch. It really is a shock tactics film, the storyline is very sad, heartwarming and scary at the same time. You feel for her and her family and yet you are shocked at the characters within the film. Its a film which really hits home the impact of AIDS & HIV and is an eye opener at the destruction it can have on lives.
this film talks about a subject that popular but no one wants to talk about the way it was talked about in this film. the approach was practical, down to earth, simple and yet hard hitting, tearjerkingly real.
queen latifa did a good job and my hat goes off to the supporting cast for the portrayal of the real situation of things in this movie. we all really have to take responsibilty for ourselves and ours, being reminded that having HIV is never written on anyone's face.
good movie but if you're looking for light hearted entertainment probably not the best film to pick

good lessons in family support for hiv sufferers and other people in need. lessons to be learnt in changing and awareness to people sex, and other life styles
