Although not usually seen as one of Hitchcock's classics, this really is a great watch. Based almost entirely on a lifeboat, the movie follows the psychological games played by the survivors of a passenger ship torpedoed by a German U-Boat during WWII. Characters include a society lady, a German U boat captain, and a young woman devastated by the death of her daughter. Tension is kept to a maximum throughout and the outcome is thoroughly rewarding. If you want to watch a Hitchcock movie that's slightly different from the usual you can't go far wrong with this.
