Good Entertainment
By Laura Wilson from Newcastle , 15 Aug 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This was an enjoyable film and very well acted on all counts.
The narrative was sufficient to keep you interested, plus a good dose of suspense although perhaps a little slow during the second half.
My only reservation is that the ending is predictable and badly explained. However, the ride that gets you there is sufficient reason to watch it.
If I don't sound too excited it's because I'm not; but if you're looking for a good evening filler then this is a sound choice.- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent movie, very well written and acted. It keeps you thinking all the way through. It's doesn't rush things, it gives you plenty of time to get absorbed into the movie and get to know the charactors. Toni Collette is fast becoming one of my favourite actresses, she plays this role to perfection (so far I've seen her in American movies, (her native) Australian movies, and now we see her with an English accent). Whenever I see a movie starring her, I'll watch it because I know that she'll make it a good movie. She seems to be the female version of Billy Bob Thornton because of her versatility both in the charactors she plays and her great accent skills. Both Tom and Eddie played their roles brilliantly as the 2 main boys of the movie, both very deep & dark charactors. I highly recommend this movie if like me, you like a movie that keeps you thinking from start to finish.- Was this review helpful to you?

A glorious waste of my time.
By Gedinite (3 reviews) from Milton Keynes , 01 Apr 2012Absolute tosh. Boring, pointless, The movie plodded along and within 20 minutes I'd completely lost interest and from that point on the movie was just background noise to the several other tasks I decided to undertake.- Was this review helpful to you?
