If there was a drug that would make you the best possible version of yourself, would you take it? That's Bradley Cooper's choice...

Fairly goodBy Ozor (92 reviews) from Essex , 21 Mar 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]The movie starts off pretty slow, with the main character down in the dumps and failing at life he is given an oppurtunity, take a drug and become a man far greater than what you are now, or leave it and rot. Of course we all know he does take and that's where the movie picks up, the plot take a boost and it becomes really enjoyable for a while.
It's not a bad movie by any means but the way it ended left me a little dissapointed. They just skip a massive time phase and it feels like the writers couldn't think of a decent way to cap this off so they just hashed the end together.
Worth a watch, a rent, but not a buy.

Good FilmBy Faerie30 (26 reviews) , 13 Feb 2013This was ok, a few glaring inconsistencies but overall a fast paced film with some good performances. Give it a go
Not a bad effortBy a customer , 11 Feb 2013Watchable film that certainly rattles along, to the extent where you wonder if it's just a bit too much too quickly. The main character makes it big within 30 minutes of the film starting so you tend to wonder if there's much more to tell. The idea that this guy borrows money to make money is flawed and ruins the film a bit. Could have been better but enjoyable.
worth a watchBy Hawkman (2 reviews) , 07 Feb 2013I did enjoy movie - it was a pretty good concept and I thought the characters were good and well acted. Plenty of action, but i felt the ending let it down and could have been either more exciting or just shorter.. Worth a watch though for sure.
Went the DistanceBy CWMK (9 reviews) , 07 Feb 2013We all enjoyed this film - Interesting and just about credible story with decent acting and dialogue which rattles along - Once or twice it kind of flagged / the plot kind of missed but overall very good Thought the end had a nice and slightly unexpected twist also
Seen better, seen worse.By Iskan (5 reviews) , 02 Feb 2013Quite enjoyable and worth seeing. Like someone else said; better to rent, than buy. It would be interesting to see if they did a sequel.
