    Steven Spielberg has decided to halt the release of his upcoming Abraham Lincoln biopic until after America's 2012 election, because he doesn't want the movie to be used as "political fodder". The legendary director has hired Daniel Day-Lewis to play the 16th U.S. president, who was assassinated in 1865, in Lincoln, alongside Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
