Lips Of Blood review

A fine example of 1970s experimental European horror or a poorly scripted, poorly acted excuse for nubile young women to get their bits frozen? Whatever your opinion on his films, you have to give Mr Rollin some credit for his continually bizarre take on Vampirism. Whether it be his minimalist sets or rambling dialogue, his films contain a certain eccentric charm. With Lips of Blood the dialogue is sparse (though the male lead still manages to be annoying!) but the images are certainly striking if a little forced. If you are after a horror film with scares or sense, then you would be advised to avoid this like garlic. If however you are looking for something just a tad unconventional then this is worth a gander. 2.5/5
(Extras ? 2 trailes for other Redemption titles, some pictures and the usual Redemption material).
