Strong and gritty

On the face of it this looks like a film which has little to offer. Norwegian, with a storyline that could be anything or nothing it actually turned out to be a really great watch.
Strong acting from all of the main characters, it tells the story of a girl who comes back from Military service without a job but whose father runs a string of Prostitutes. He needs a driver to get them to the customers and then protect them. He is especially careful with his prized possession so gives daughter the job. She has to strong arm some of the customers as well as look after the needs of the father's prime girl who is also his own bed mate.
Although its a little deep at times and rather typical of Scandinavian type films it developes the story line well, its not too slow - a regular complaint against films from the Northern region of Europe - and grips almost from strat to finish.
