This isnt worth buying (good for renting) dont expect another 'live aid' this is a completely different league, billing it as 'the greatest british rock concert of all time' is highly exaggerating, its basically all the big names doing all their B sides.
I videoed this when it was first broadcast in 1990 and still watch it a few times a year.
Knebworth 90 was filled with major bands of long standing, rather than filled with one minute wonders.
Sadly, it appears that some of the songs have been editied (badly) for the DVD edition. Noticed it during the Genisis medley. Major chunks of it missing!
This was ok , disapointing as i rented disk 3 , thank goodness for pink floyd, although the disk only had two tracks from them , very disapointed really.

Just wanted to add my ideas on this disc.. call it a mixture of all three volumes spread over 2 discs. Superb concert that I remember from back in 1985ish when I was at school and was just getting to love a lot of the bands that featured at this Concert. I remember having the album for this on tape years ago and yes, a lot of people in these reviews have said its been heavily edited, as I noticed that my personal favourite by Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb was missing from this DVD. Be that as it may, it was still great to see Floyd, Genesis (and Phil Collins with is solo band), Status Quo, Robert Plant (featuring Jimmy Page as well!), as well as many others... excellent show, was a bit of nostalgia for me.
One thing to add, for all those with big home cinema kits, the audio must have been remastered as it sounded great loud, however, dont forget its the mid 80s and widescreen tvs werent around in those days. Well worth a look!

This is a mixed bag of music with volume 2 & 3 being the best. Worth a look/listen but not spectacular.
Great Show, if you didn't see this on TV in 1990 it is well worth booking it.
Was at this concert in 1990 so didn't see the TV showing of it. Have the CD at home and paly it to death. Really glad to see it on DVD and it brings back a lot of memories. This is definately one I will be going out and buying.
this is a brilliant concert featuring all the best this country has to offer
i was there at the time and it is a perfect reminder of a great event
Excellant footage of Plant (with Page), Genesis and Pink floyd. Great Sound and vision.
I suppose just watching this as a stand alone concert then most casual viewers could be disappointed but, for me it evokes memories about a great day in 1990, when the rock and pop elite got together to raise money for the Nordoff Robbins Music Charity. All were winners of the coveted Silver Clef and, as a one off event, then these recordings pretty well capture what a great day it was.
it was good at the time but a little dated watching now, as the artists are so much older and better now.
