Another embarrassing British attempt to emulate the US campus movie, this is guaranteed to draw howls of derision whenever it's shown. No one takes pleasure in laying into an independent debut feature made against all odds, but Guy de Beaujeu's screenplay is rigid with clichés and caricatures, while John Miller's direction wouldn't pass basic drama society muster. Consequently, the cast hasn't an earthly of luring us into the Bristol University world of babes, booze and bungee jumping. But the actors' discomfort is compounded by Miller's technical ineptitude, as he throws in everything from dizzying camera rotations to zip-cut montage. Barely worth one star.

GREAT 1ST FEATURE LOW BUDGET FLICK

This 1st feature by my best freind John miller is great loads of fun student low budget film. Not to been viewed as a oscar winning movie, like the radio times critic has done, he was way to harsh, with his view. I dont think he ever went to university. This great student flick is all about lives of a group of students at university in bristol. All characters in this movie , im sure students past and present will totally relate to.Student parties, going out, getting drunk, pulling girls, shagging, falling in n out of love. Theres a couple of small cameos by one or two famous faces, plus up and coming actress niaomi harris, since doing thie flick has gone onto do,28 days later, pirates of the caribean, plus few more. This film not to be taken too seriously at all, its just loads of fast fun, and we all been young once. Defo worth my 3star{good] , and gets better everytime you watch it.Take into consideration its low budget, its well filmed and acted, and i know everyone had loads of fun making this film.So just chill, watch n enjoy, and get drunk.........!STUDENTS PAST N PRESENT GIVE IT A GO.................! You wont be disappointed.
