Living the Dream

After a traumatic childhood being bullied Brenda (Sean Young) and her immigrant friend Jonathan (Christian Schoyen) grows up realizing that nothing has changed since childhood. In a desperate attempt the middle-aged friends start up their own business in Los Angeles to get their lives on track and gain respect from others. In their pursuit of finding happiness they get trapped in a corrupted life of abuse, sex and deception in a city where the end justifies the means. Living the Dream is an arthouse movie that deals with the subject of children and adults being bullied and how it impacts their lives.
