I can now see why this is classed as a classic Scottish film, in the top ten of all Scottish films. It is filmed in a small village where an American is sent to buy up all the land for an oil company. Denis Lawson is great as the local runner of a b&b where the American is staying, and as the only lawyer in the area. nice understated performances from everyone, including Peter Capaldi.
