This surprised me! I wasn't expecting anything much. Just a bit of sugary rom-com with a nice Scottish Highland backdrop. I like the Highlands so got it anyway and it turned out to be a real winner!

Ted Danson is perfect as the world-weary American given a task he doesn't want to take on ..... finding 'Nessie'! He doesn't expect to find it and doesn't expect to find love either. Young 9-year old Isobel, the daughter of the local innkeeper, likes him though and knows when she meets him that a fate awaits him. He, meanwhile, needs to learn a thing or two about the locals .... If you enjoyed 'Local Hero' you might well like this. If you are looking for dinosaurs or a refreshing take on 'rom coms' or just the Highland backdrop, you could do worse than relax and go with the flow of this really winning, imaginative charmer.
