Most helpful review
Simply brilliant
By FJO from England , 15 Feb 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
- If you think that a commercial-shooting director shouldn't attempt the big screen...
- If you enjoyed Tarantino's work, 'Fargo', 'Trainspotting', 'Fight Club', 'Snatch' or 'Memento'...
- If you want a taste of rhiming cockney...
...you must definitely watch this film.
Just a warning, it's definitely not for the narrow-minded...
A true oddity... don't miss it!- Was this review helpful to you?

(130)Overrated violence fest
By Bobsview (554 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 04 Apr 2013Guy Ritchie, hated it. Unwatchable, stupid, mindless violence, fell asleep. Obviously many people love this cult classic but it was just not for me. Vastly overrated.- Was this review helpful to you?

very grainy blu-ray release
By Dodgyroge (39 reviews) from SLOUGH , 07 Jan 2013This review is for the Blu-ray only. Although this is a fantastic film (I bought it when it was released on dvd), the quality of the blu-ray is very poor. The film is very very grainy, and though it worked very well on dvd, the blu-ray release looks very poor. I was halfway out to the shops to buy this blu-ray but would recommend not to waste your money, a great film, but not worth paying out for the blu-ray disc!- Was this review helpful to you?

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
By NICKJOJO (255 reviews) from Surrey , 19 Jul 2012Long time since i've seen this great film as i had it on tape and i've not got the DVD, yet. A pacey, cleverly made London gangster film. The casting is perfect, the story entertaining and believable and the direction a masterpiece. All round, if you've never seen it, you should if you like films.- Was this review helpful to you?
