Brilliant
By PHIL from Derbyshire , 22 Mar 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
If you liked the movie Lock stock and two Smoking Barrels you will love this series. It continues in the same vane as the film. It centres around a group of four lads who constantly get in dangerous situations involving Miami Vice (A local gangster)Usualy everybody around them end up dead and the lads execute a narrow escape. The first episode in the series is feture length of about 1hour 25mins and the other episodes are about 45mins long so it is excelent value as a rental. I highly recomend this series and only wish they could have made more.- Was this review helpful to you?

(11)Lock, Stock and Several Not Very Good Stories!
By Crookshanks (327 reviews) from Newport, Shropshire , 12 Jul 2010Although the movie was fantastic those who think the TV series might follow in it's genius footsteps will be sadly wronged. The script, even though very well written, was just not of a good enough standard. The humour from the original movie was missing along with the signature classic music. In fact the only decent bit of music is the theme tune with the brilliant Ocean Colour Scene. Some of the stories were a little confusing and some had no point at all. The best one was the last story revolving around the prison. Generally this series had it's moments but unfortunately no where near as good as its film counterpart.- Was this review helpful to you?

Loved, stoked and one excellent series.
By Theraymster (33 reviews) from Craigavon , 08 Feb 2009Four likeable London lads desperate to make a few bob on the black market stumble in and out of trouble with the law, and worse - Miami vice, over stolen porn, horses and some moody 'Vagira' (a potentially fatal version of 'Viagra'). Ok so it's missing the familiar Richie regulars such as Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham, but it does not lack the humour, wit and style that made the like of Snatch and Lock, stock and two smoking barrels such hits. Well recommended.- Was this review helpful to you?

Spin off series
By a customer from Norfolk,England , 11 Jan 2007Not having seen the film for a long time and missing this series on telly I thought I'd give it a go. Pleasantly suprised to see the same lock stock style throughout, if you liked the film it's definitely worth a look.- Was this review helpful to you?
