ABC's fantasy-dramedy captured Lois' side of the classic comic-book tale, thanks the quirky ingenue's scene stealing ability to display steely strength one minute, snappy comic timing the next, and gooey romanticism after that...
I have waited so long for this series to come to DVD !!! I used to watch this evry saturday evening. At the time i thought it was ace. Dean Cain was maybe a little too obvious for the Superman role. A bit too muscle man but did well none the less but, it was Teri Hatcher who really impressed, Her Lois Lane is what Lois was all about. She was vulnerable but kicked ass !!! She was good with the butt kicking !!! Some of the stories were a bit lame but the cast saved it. Roll on the rest of the series. Can;t wait for the Ultra Woman episodes.
The first time I saw this I was very young and enjoyed it immensely. Watching it again I slipped back into nostalgic bliss, but I realised that certain characters were slightly annoying. Everything is a little too sugar coated and watching from a more mature point of view I've realised this stuff is probably most appreciated by kids. Having said that it is far from being bad and it does have a certain amount of charm, or maybe that's just nostalgia.
