Call it Witchboard 7 or Wishmaster 5, just don't call director Marcus Adams's feature debut anything original. Everything about this south London-set Scream — featuring college students summoning up an ancient fire demon during a Ouija board session — is obvious, third-hand and bogus. Any hopes that the British horror genre would be revived are dashed once the dialogue rakes over old chestnuts such as We must stick together, swiftly followed by the characters doing the exact opposite. Former EastEnders pin-up Joe Absolom and obligatory American name Lukas Haas — he was the little Amish boy in Witness — add little to this supernatural tosh, which is further marred by a vague denouement and some sloppy editing. Only those who haven't seen a horror film in the past twenty years will get a kick from Long Time Dead — a great title that will prove sadly prophetic for its future.
Risible 'teen slasher movie, in which uninteresting people are killed by a forgettable monster.
The film has a very good plot line and is full of twists and turns. Just stick with it as it has a very slow start.
Not too bad a film.Nothing new or anything really scary, but it had a few good moments.Still,it's nice to see a Brit horror film than yet another costume drama or Hugh Grant movie.Worth a rental, especially if you're drunk or stoned like most of the characters in this film!
This film is better than expected, and worse than others in its genre. However, quality performances and a plausible story line make for an entertaining movie...

Excellent movie, not for the faint hearted though - lots of frightening parts !! You would certainly think twice before getting involved in a ouija board reading.
A film which could've been better. The basic idea was good but I was actually waiting for one of them to get killed just so I didn't have to watch her awful acting anymore.
If you're one for the equilibrium to be restored at the end of the film then this isn't one for you, not sure if they were/are planning to make a sequel but that's how it would seem.
Overall it was watchable but definitely not at the top of my list!
This is a really good film. Its nice to see a decent British horror for a change.
The story is good, quite jumpy in places and keeps you guessing about who the killer is right the way through. Definately worth a watch!
I DID LIKE THIS FILM AND IT MADE ME JUMP IN PARTS.BUT AT THE START OF THE MOVIE IT SHOWED TOO MANY PEOPLE USING DRUGS.I DON,T THINK THERE WAS ANY NEED FOR THAT.
WT2 (otherwise known as Working Title 2 - a subdivision of Working Title who seek to promote new British talent) produced this smart little horror flick. With a large cast of promising Brit unknowns and a stalwart thrown in for good measure (Tom Bell) a group of friends find themselves being pursued and picked off one by one by a creature they summoned during a drugged-up session with an ouija board. Borrowing Sam Raimi's Evil Dead 'racing camera' technique combined with creepy sound effects, this is when the film works best. It's definitely formulaic in its structure, but it's nice to see that the English can hold their own in this genre alongside the onslaught of similar films coming out of the States.
This is a great film!!
This is one the the jumpiest movies that I've seen in a long while. Unlike Final Destination where the scenes are obviously put there just for effect this one uses suspense to give you a spine tingling ride.
