This film has dated. BUT, in a good way. I think this is a very important film, and one which truly looks at the effect on gay men, and the great loss and isolation of that period. Also positive for looking at loving relationships and friendships. Very well acted and thought through. The film does not end hopefully, but I think it is important to again recognise when this was made, and how far things have moved forward in terms of drugs.
