Average. Not as good as the book

I would say this film is average. Unlike the book, where you get to know the characters, the film just does not perform this to its full potential. Could have worked more on character building. And to be honest with you, been more brutal & scarier. The book had quite a sinister side to it & again the film just doesn't have enough of this.

The storyline is fantastic, showing how quickly innocence can change to barbaric behaviour. And the film does follow this exactly.

I studied Lord of the Flies in secondary school like majority of people & we watched the film then as reference, but its not how I remember it.

Other than that, it was ok.
