well worth a viewing
great if you like whodunnits, quite enjoyed it.

Beautiful
Wonderfully and sympathetically acted by Edward Petherbridge as the ultimate Peter Wimsey and Harriet Walters as Harriet Vane. 'Gaudy Night' is my favourite book and I was thrilled that the TV version (if not perfectly faithful) is just as beautifully acted as it is written. I'd give it 6 stars if I were able.
