A perfect Sunday afternoon!!
By AT1982 (1 review) from Chester , 28 Apr 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
This film is just a wonderful piece of escapism for all ages; it has quite a slow pace but gets your rapt attention as minute by minute it draws you further in as the story builds. It reminds you of what it felt like to watch cartoons when you were a small child, to get completely lost in a story. This won't be the most exciting film you ever watch, but it doesn't have to be. Beautifully crafted, it is the perfect half hour to sit with your child and genuinely enjoy something together.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sweet little film
By 040871 (2 reviews) , 26 Oct 2011What a sweet little film. My daughter is nearly 5 and she loved it. Shame it's a short film. Well worth a rent.- Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful film
By a customer from London , 10 Aug 2010This film was beautifully animated, and so cleverly written. My children were completly absorbed, and their emotions were absolutely embroiled in it from start to finish.
From lovers of the Oliver Jeffers books- a masterpiece!- Was this review helpful to you?

Gorgeous Film!
By Shelley1904 (8 reviews) from Caterham , 12 Feb 2010Absolutely gorgeous film. My 5 and 3 year old boys adore this film - and so do I. They were sad that I had to return it so I bought it for them to watch over and over. The story has a sensitive morale issue which comes across beautifully. The little boy who befriended a penguin. I bought this also for a friend's little boy and she tells me that he watches it every day.- Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful and simple
By chenny (70 reviews) from Bristol , 13 Oct 2009This is a great one before bed time, and any older kids prone to complaining about having to watch kids stuff, will be sucked in alongside the younger ones.
The film is less than 25 mins and yet the story is unhurried, the animation while not spectacular is perfect.
Enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?
