Frank Capra directed a range of films with a similar theme- the decency of the common (read 'poor') man and the ability of people to work together with each other for a common good.

Lost Horizon covers these issues too. I have seen this a number of times now, and I get the same feeling when I start to watch 'It's a Wonderful Life'. This is a very good, and good spirited movie.

Some of the great things about it include: Ronald Coleman- one of the all time great English actors; The sets for Shangri La; the Beauty of Jane Wyatt; and the conclusion.

If you've not seen it this is a must. If you have- it's about time you saw it again.
