This season of Lost has to be the best so far. Without giving too much away, there are new characters (and the return of some faces from the past!) , plenty of action, great dialogue and finally some answers to some of those all important questions (although in true Lost style new questions are raised!)
In my opinion Lost is one of the best TV series ever made, it is compelling, intriguing and always leaves you wanting to know more! If you have never watched Lost before don't start here....you will never be able to understand who all these people are and what on earth is going on, you need to watch from season 1, but rest assured that the hours spent watching Lost will not be wasted, it is a fantastic programme on so many levels that there is something for everyone to enjoy and a character for everyone to relate to. Take my advice and become Lost in Lost today!
Season 4 has been simnply the best!
Best Drama.
Best Cast.
Best Writing.
Best Everything!!!!!!!
Brilliance!
one of the most earry and exciting programmes, you will on the edge of your seat!
LOST. Describes this series completely.
Watching this stuff now - this tired and utterly turded fourth season - really makes me wonder the sort of people posting on these boards. All those who gave this junk 4 or 5 stars should hang their heads in shame at the mindless loyalty shown to a weak Hollywood cashcow. LOST should have been put out of its misery after season 2.
Didn't you think it was time to move on when your friends stopped talking about it? Havent picked up that 'not_again' rolling of the eyes when you recount the latest 'wicked' episode you watched?
No-one gives a sh1t who your favourite character is. The world has moved on, and should you.
This series has got to be one the finest around. Series 4 is the best so far and I especially liked the 'flash forwards' instead of the flash backs that we normally get. If I say any more it will spoil things, so rent/buy it - now!

Ive been an avid and totally hooked viewer for the previous 3 seasons but Lost has really gone downhill with season 4. I watched the previous season boxsets in just a few days each but this time I felt I had to force myself to finish off season 4. I just dont care what happens anymore.
Lost 4......say no more. Excellecent drama from the US. 10 out 10. Bring on series 5
Lost had lost me after season 3 to be honest. It had moved too slowly, given too few answers and I found the most annoying thing was that nobody asked the simple questions of 'WHY?!' and WHO?!'. But a friend suggested that I should give this season a chance and so I did.
I was blown away by the sheer pace, creativity and answers produced by the show. It went like a freight-train and the finale is as good as any before it. The fact that there are ten episodes less makes it so much easier to watch. You know you are going to get to the crux of the story without 8-10 filler episodes.
Major characters die, new ones are introduced. You find out the identity of the Oceanic Six and how they get off of the island - but at the same time some huge questions are left unanswered but not in the same infuriating way as before (this time you feel genuinely excited about finding out more).
I would say that this season offers fresh hope that the most creative show on TV is back with a vengeance and if it continues this way it could well be seen as the greatest and most ambitious show ever made.

Class........confusing but class!
With a new season of Lost I was hoping for something new this time, and boy did I get it! Unfortunately this was the kind of 'new' that makes the series feel as if it's dragging its feet sometimes - new characters and a new direction of plot. Lost has made its name through tiny releases of plot details at a time, feeding the viewer pieces of vital story twists and turns just before ending the episode, or even worse the series. Season 4 is certainly no different, but if it ain't broke don't fix it, eh? At least I bet that's what the scriptwriters are saying just before reaching for their ivory backscratchers and cuban cigars.
As with probably 99% of Lost fans, I am simply looking forward to the 'end' of the story just so I can move on, probably to watch more of the same via the likes of 'Heroes' or 'The Wire'. But for now I'm prepared to sit back and try to not get too angry when an episode finishes just when it seems all our questions are going to be answered, only to finish with even more questions.
I have been hooked to Lost since the start and have thoroughly enjoyed the previous series's but this season seemed to lack something, that certain spark that keeps you coming back for more. Yeh sure in this one you get some answers but some of the storylines and particually bizzare and some borderline crazy.
Iits not all bad though, The acting is as good as ever and whats left of the original storylines are still fairly engaging.
If you've watched Lost from the start then watch Season 4, Purely to keep you up to date, But if your jumping on the Lost bangwagon its best to start at the start and work your way into it, Starting here will leave you dissapointed.
