Trekkies everywhere may have to set their faces to stunned after the man behind the new Star Trek movie, Lost creator JJ Abrams, reportedly said he is not making the film just for them. Santoro joins Jim and Ewan's Love-fest

Lost and 300's Rodrido Santoro is the latest star to sign up for Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor's dark comedy I Love You, Phillip Morris, according to Digital Spy. The Lone Ranger is set for a return to the screen and according to the Hollywood Reporter two writers have been brought on-board. It is reported that Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, part of the writing team behind the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, are due to sign up for a new big screen adaptation of the popular character. The new Star Trek film has been delayed for a summer release and will not hit screens until May 2009.
