More than it says on the box

Expected a cheap erotic film, turned out to be a film to remember. Great acting all through, and Helen Mirren should have got an award for her part.- Was this review helpful to you?

Enjoyable but not great.
By OnlyCrapUserNamesLeft (6 reviews) from London , 18 Dec 2011I actually quite enjoyed this film but Mirren didn't seem entirely convincing her role. The highlight for me was watching beautiful Sergio.- Was this review helpful to you?

Watch if nothing else
By a customer , 22 Oct 2011Watchable, but poor. Hard to believe Helen Mirran was in this!!! One to watch when ironing ;-) you will not miss much if you are not properly concentrating on the story.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Reasonable alternative to a typical evening's TV offering!
By Chrisaljack (302 reviews) from Hellingly , 13 Apr 2011I'm not sure why Love Ranch never made it to the cinemas in the UK - there are many films not nearly as good as this on circuit! Definitely NOT Helen Mirrem's next Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, she was clearly trying to give some 'star appeal' to her husband's production (and, no doubt, keep his cost down for actors!) rather than because it was an appealing script. So: a good alternative to a typical evening's TV offerings but not a dvd you will rush out to buy!- Was this review helpful to you?
