I never thought I would say this but...

Having seen this at a preview today I really enjoyed the film, at first I thought it was just another rom-com but I was wrong! There is actually a really touching story running alongside the main story!
It wasn't until half way through I realized that it is set late 80s- early 90s, Jake Gyllenhaal was great and gorgeous as ever, it was nice to see him in more of a Romeo role to his more quirky roles he usually plays, Anne Hathaway was absolutely brilliant, capturing some real emotion and looking beautiful as ever! The storyline is great, the only thing I would say which I never thought I would say is there is a bit too much sex in the film, not the best thing to see when sat next to your mum!- Was this review helpful to you?

Hathaway trys (and fails) to be sexy

disappointing comedy about love
