Definitely not to be confused in any way with the delightful Doris Day—Rock Hudson movie of the same title, this romantic comedy has war correspondent George Brent returning from a couple of years away on assignment. Wife Lucille Ball's warm welcome is soon frozen by the discovery that her hubby hasn't lacked for female company and she takes off for a Vegas divorce. Naturally, he follows. Some zany shenanigans along the way pep up a mildly entertaining movie, disadvantaged by its dull leading man and dancer Vera Zorina, whose acting leaves a lot to be desired, in the role of the glamorous other woman.
Fairly sharp advertising satire disguised as a romantic comedy; the most entertaining of the Day-Hudson charmers.
Being very similar to Pillow talk, Doris Day & Rock Hudson spar brilliantly in this battle of the sexes film.
Tony Randall as the head of the advertising firm for which Rock Hudson works, is a delight as a boss who really doesn't do any of the work for his company due to the past influence of his deceased father. He really steals the film!!
RH and DD work for opposing firms and are both trying to get a contract for a product that doesn't exist. What happens to them both? Well you'll have to watch the film to find out!
I love Doris Day so this was always going to be a winner. Its a nice change to watch a film without all the sex and violence. The ending is predictable (as always) but that doesnt spoil the journey getting there. The sets and clothes are amazing and Doris Day looks great and so does Mr Hudson.

Dennen, 67, claims he coached Streisand after they shared the stage in 1959 off-Broadway play The Insect Comedy, and admits he refused Streisand's request to return three performance... Read more
