A must for Luther Fans

A must see collection of some of Luthers finest soulful tracks through the 80's and 90's.

Apart from the fantastic music and lyrics, the videos themselves were entertaining and usually had a theme running through them. It was also nice to see a few songs as live performances at concerts here in the UK.

Oh, a Yes defo for Luther fans (4.5)

If you LOVE Luther then this DVD is for you. The selection of music is quite good. I saw the duet with Hines for the first time and loved it. There is something for all Luther fans. Never too much is on there 'of course!' I hear you say. Anyway make sure you watch the BONUS performance 'A house is not a home'... in this Luther LOOKS his best and peforms his best... I'm not sending bback my copy in a hurry so I hope for your sake theres more out there.... If you have sorround sound or can connect your systems to your stereo then I recommend you do so and wack up the volume...

The Greatest Male Vocal Soul Singer Ever!!

Many of these songs never hit the UK Chart or many never got to see the video's, I own all his albums and it still amazes me how soulful this guy is, a truly wonderful selection of his videos and well worth going to buy, as i own it. Dont Rent, a must buy!!

Whoever put 4.5 for this guy obviously isnt a pure Luther Fan and a Connoisoir of Soul Music, this guy gets a 10 every time!!

The Greatest Male Vocal Soul Singer Ever!!

Many of these songs never hit the UK Chart or many never got to see the video's, I own all his albums and it still amazes me how soulful this guy is, a truly wonderful selection of his videos and well worth going to buy, as i own it. Dont Rent, a must buy!!

Excellent

A compilation of FULL videos.

This how a music DVD should be. The entire songs. Not a cheaply put together concert.

It gets my vote.

A great voice but videos disappoint

The power of Luther's unique voice has never been in doubt. He is let down, however, by the some of the videos on display here. This doesn't really count as a "greatest hits" package as it omits GIVE ME THE REASON, SO AMAZING and THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE. What is left is an interesting look at other tracks from the various stages of his career. Much to enjoy for fans of Luther but nothing here to attract new fans.
