Dont be put off by the opening credits
By a customer from Exeter , 01 Feb 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This DVD is a corker for people who are new to pilates! Dont be put off by the technical looking moves they show you in the opening credits, its not as hard as it look. There are three different levels, you follow a different person if you are a beginner intermediate or advanced. I would thoughrly recommend this.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Wouldn't recommend
By rachaelknight16 (108 reviews) from Derbyshire, England , 06 May 2012Disliked this but my own fault as I didn't read that Kristin McGree directs it - I've already got one of her pilates DVD & she uses the same moves in this. Also, the cameraman has NO idea what he's doing - you can't follow what she's doing 100% as he's doing stupid 90 degree angles.
Pretty good though as behind her, there's 4 others doing different stages of the exercise, from beginners to advanced.
All in all I wouldn't recommend this, purely for the pathetic camera work. Rent her proper DVD done in a studio.- Was this review helpful to you?

advanced only
By a customer from BALLYMENA , 05 Feb 2009These exercises are conducted at an absurd speed and would be suitable only for experienced/advanced pilates students. The teacher shows no cognisance whatsoever that a beginner may be watching the dvd.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Good Beginners - Inter Pilates Routine
By Samantha from Bedford , 12 Feb 2007I bought this and it was not a waste of money!
Yes, it does concentrate on tried and tested techniques and maybe the same old same old but the setting and the instruction is top notch and the music and setting better then normal pilates routines.
+ at 30 minutes i is a can do routine that you can fit in
I have now advanced to Kirsten's Pilates Mix which is outstanding and easily the best Pilates Routine I have ever seen.
Start here and progress to the Mix - I can actually see my mid section change - well worth the effort and an excellent starting point!- Was this review helpful to you?
